Hey guys! I did a review for the book The Negotiator by Dee Henderson a little while ago, so today, I thought I’d do a follow-up review for the next book in this series, The Guardian.
Now, honestly this book was pretty fantastic. I loved it so much. The characters were absolutely amazing and it really gives us a window into the character Marcus O’Malley that you didn’t get from the first book.
As you’ve probably guessed, the main character is Marcus O’Malley. Marcus is a U.S. Marshal. (I love how creative Henderson got with the career choices of this unique family!) Throughout this book Marcus works vigorously to find the solution to a federal judge’s murder, and try to save the woman he’s beginning to love.
This book kept me on my toes. I was so interested as to figuring out the mystery. If you were wondering, I got the conclusion wrong, but the supsence was so worth it!!
The fact that these are Christian books, makes it even better. You see Marcus struggle with turning his life over to Christ. You also get logical reasons behind why someone might be hesitant to become a follower of Jesus. That, in my opinion, helps quite a bit when your trying to witness to someone. If that person is struggling with a similar thing that someone you read about has, it might make it a little easier for you take this little piece of that person’s life, examine it, and try to look at things through their perspective.

Overall, I loved this book so much. This series is going to hold a special place in my heart forever!:)
Thanks so much for reading today post! What’d you think? Would you like another review in the future on book #3? Let me know in the comments!
