As Christmas is nearing, I have started to think about what I would like and what to get other fellow bookworms as a gift. Books seem like an obvious choice but I think we can get a little bit more creative than that! So, I have been brainstorming with my editor – shout out to Michelle- and a good friend of mine, so here are some fun gifts for your favorite bookworms!
(Anything underlined is a link to what I’m talking about!)

- A Barnes and Nobel gift card. I know this isn’t insanely original or genius, however, I LOVE gift cards to this store. It’s the best feeling perusing the store with the smell of pages filling your lungs and wandering through organized shelves filled with books. Also, if your Barnes and Noble has a Starbucks attached like mine does that gift card works there too so you not only get to find a book but also get to sip on a coffee while doing it!
- Coffee Mugs. I don’t know what you like to do while reading but I love to drink my coffee and sit in the picture window of the living room. A friend of mine has a huge love for coffee mugs so I got her one and then decided to get one for me too. This action lead to a downward spiral of a coffee mug addiction. I can’t stop buying! The best part is there are tons of book themed mugs that make this gift even more personalized!
- Author themed candle. Oh, yes these exist. I was trying to find out what I wanted for Christmas this year when I ran across these amazing gifts. The particular one I have an interest in is the Paddywax soy candle that’s Edgar Allen Poe scented. I have no idea what it really means but it sounds cool (I think they mentioned cardamom)! Same with the Jane Austen scented one. I also discovered a Lord of The Rings candle set, which I am now very curious about.
- Book Quote Signs.

I think signs like these are amazing!! I have one in my bedroom that is one of my favorite quotes (if you want to know what it is it’s at the bottom of this article 😉 ) and I think it adds so much to my room. Signs like these are so cute in personal libraries or literally anywhere! I have found chalkboard, painted, and wooden signs with all sorts of quotes and pictures.
- Shakespearean Band-aids. Oh yeah, I said it. I want these so much because they are so random and fun. The best part is that these aren’t just quotes, there are insults. I haven’t ever finished a book by Shakespeare, though, so I don’t know a ton about his works. If you’re interested though, check them out at amazon! There’s also Edgar Allen Poe Band-Aids but I’m thinking nothing beats getting kicked by William Shakespeare while you’re down!
- A Blanket. This idea may seem random, however, if you or a bookworm you know loves to sit and read for hours, nothing can beat sitting with a cuddly blanket. Whenever I sit down to read, I do it with a blanket. The best part is there are all sorts of really awesome book themed blankets out there!
- Library Checkout Kit. So, I told a good friend about this article and she scoured the internet for gift ideas. She showed me this and I adore it! It’s designed so that you can loan books out to people and then document who it went to. As a book enthusiast, this sounds fun and practical! Then I can keep track of where all my books went! I think this is just such a creative and unique idea!

Thank you for checking out today’s article! I hope you found something that either you want or you could get a loved one (I personally would like all of these, just saying)! I know it can be tough shopping for people in December so I hope you found this post helpful!
Which presents out of these seven ideas would you want for Christmas? Let me know in the comments!
